Rich Supplier Context & Custom Fields
Add supplier details, custom fields, and linked properties without modifying upstream SBOM data.
You can now annotate suppliers directly in SBOM Observer without altering the source SBOM:
- Add contact details, contract numbers, and criticality for each supplier.
- Create custom fields to capture business-specific metadata.
- Link properties to keep external references (like CRM or ticket URLs) close at hand.
- All annotations are stored separately, so original SBOM data remains untouched.
This helps fill common gaps in SBOMs, like business context and who to contact, while keeping the upstream data intact.
